One of the biggest challenges we faced was the disapproval of Emily’s family. They didn’t understand me, didn’t think I was good enough for their precious daughter. They tried to drive a wedge between us, to turn Emily against me. But we were determined to make our love work, to prove to them that we were meant to be.
But as with all things, our love was not without its challenges. We faced obstacles and setbacks, times when it seemed like the world was against us.
