Tenali Rama, being the king’s trusted advisor, is tasked with finding a solution to the problem. He decides to investigate the matter and pay a visit to the merchant’s household. Upon arrival, he meets the merchant’s daughter, who appears to be indeed possessed by some sort of entity.

Tenali Rama comes up with a plan to cure Leela of her condition. He convinces the merchant to allow him to perform a ritual, but instead of calling for a traditional exorcism, he requests a large quantity of the sweet dish that Leela craves.
