“I asked him to show me his license, and that’s when he became really aggressive,” Hazel said. “He told me that I had to pay the fare or he would take my belongings.”
As Hazel reached for her wallet to pay, she noticed that the driver’s ID badge looked fake. She started to feel a sense of unease and realized that she might have made a terrible mistake. That was until they pulled up to her
“It was a huge relief to know that I wasn’t the only one who had been scammed,” Hazel said. “The company told me that they had received several complaints about this driver in the past few weeks.”
